Introduction to Sock Knitting

Has knitting socks seemed a little intimidating? Well, this is your chance to be in solidarity with others who are learning to knit their first pair of socks! If you know how to knit, purl, slip stitch, and ssk (slip, slip knit), then you're all set. The "Beginner Sock" pattern is worked "cuff down" using worsted weight yarn. You'll learn how to work in-the-round using double-pointed needles and how to "turn a heel." The pattern is easy to follow and provides tips for fitting women's shoe sizes 5-11.
