Have you looked at beautiful lacy knit patterns, but put them aside because lace knitting just seemed like it would be too complicated? Now is your chance to learn the basics of lace knitting, without fear!
In this two-hour class, you’ll be using a super-bulky yarn that works up fast and lets you easily see how the lace pattern is developing. You will learn to:
Interpret written and/or charted instructions for a knitted lace item.
Use increases and decreases to create the lace pattern.
Block finished lace items.
Skill Level:Advanced Beginner/Intermediate. To be successful in this class, you should know how to cast on, knit, purl, and have some experience working in-the-round on circular needles. There is no homework to complete before this class begins.

Yarn: One skein Malabrigo Rasta OR 90 yards of another super bulky yarn.** Pleasehave your yarn wound into a ball before coming to class.
Needles: US 19 (15 mm) circular needles with 16" or 24" cable
