Seven Sisters Blue Sky Fibers KAL - April 1 to June 30
Seven Sisters Top Knit-a-Long (KAL) with Northfield Yarn and Blue Sky Fibers
We are excited to be partnering with the Minnesota yarn company, Blue Sky Fibers, on their 2020 Spring/Summer Sweater KAL, which runs from April 1 - June 30.
This project is great for adventurous beginners. Participants will knit a sweater in-the-round and then finish the back and front separately, joining their work at the shoulders. The result is a perfect top for the coming warmer months.
Interested in joining the KAL?
Register by adding this item to your shopping cart and proceed all the way through checkout and payment (even though it is free). Be sure to provide accurate contact info during checkout, because we will send you a FREE download code for the Seven Sisters Top pattern that can be used starting April 1st.
Stay Connected During Online Zoom Support Sessions!
We will be hosting weekly online Zoom** gatherings for Seven Sisters KAL participants on Thursdays during the Online Open Stitch sessions, from 6:00-8:00 pm. Northfield Yarn staff member Brianna will be knitting the sweater along with you and providing support online. Register for the KAL -- make sure you go through the whole checkout process to be fully registered -- and then watch for an email containing the link you'll need to join Open Stitch each week.
Grand Prize from Blue Sky Fibers!
The Friends of Blue Sky Fibers Ravelry page will be the nationwide home base for the KAL. Feel free to post comments, questions and progress pictures there. If you post an image of your final piece on Ravelry or any of Blue Sky Fibers social sites (tag them so they see it!), you will be entered to win the grand prize: yarn in the color of your choice and pattern for BSF’s summer KAL, a sweater in Organic Cotton (Skinny).
And ... Join Us on Our Ravelry Discussion Forum
You are also invited to participate in the Northfield Yarn Ravelry forum discussing ALL our Spring Make-a-Longs at:
NOTE: Due to the MN Stay-at-Home order in effect during the COVID-19 crisis (currently March 27-April 11), there will be no staff in the shop to process orders for physical items. You can still register for the KAL, and we hope to be able to open the Online Shop and ship yarn & other supplies again, once the MN Stay-at-Home order is lifted.
