Learn to weave on a rigid heddle table loom in this single-session class!
Suzie Glimsdale, an experienced and enthusiastic weaving instructor, will teach you to warp the loom and weave a small piece appropriate for use as a dishtowel or placemat. No prior weaving experience is necessary, but supplies are not included (see list below). Loom rental is required unless you bring your own Cricket loom.
Skill Level: No previous weaving experience is required to take this class.
Supplies to bring to class: (registered students receive 10% off class supply purchases, excluding patterns.)
- 10" or 15" Cricket loom. You can arrange to rent a loom during the class session for an additional $10. If you will need to rent a loom, you must call the shop at least 3 days before the class meets to let us know that you will need a loom. The loom rental fee will be paid directly to the instructor when you come to class.
- 2 balls of Sugar n'Cream cotton (150 yds/ball)
